The FRAMERY was founded over 45 years ago by Mary Helen Crook in a small studio in Lawrenceburg Indiana, following her previous shops in Newport Beach, California, and Mariemont, Ohio. The business flourished into what you see today at 84 East High Street Lawrenceburg Indiana. This is due to the staff's unique design talents and the apprenticeship programs that Mary Helen fostered.
 

The FRAMERY specializes in framing everything from prints and photos to original art, jerseys, and baseball bats. We can even frame cherished items like baby clothing, grandma’s hankie or button collections. The options for what can be preserved and displayed are limitless.

Recognizing the importance of art education, Mary Helen established an art enrichment studio in 2005, offering classes for children and adults, ages 3 to 93.

Some popular bookings are for Girl Scout troops, Birthday Arty Parties, and our regular events and Holiday Classes such as Art with Santa, ages 2 & Up.
 

Some of our classes are limited to Adult’s or ages 7-9, if accompanied by an adult, such as our fused glass classes, where participants can make pendants, ornaments or chimes.

The FRAMERY also provides drop in pottery painting anytime the studio is not booked.
